Violet exists to change the way we spend our final days, a life stage we call 'the last stage of life'. We do this by focusing our attention on the friends and family that provide care for their loved ones.
We help carers with acceptance, preparation and communication by providing support through our Violet Guided Support Program and our growing library of stories and information.

Caring for a loved one who is terminally ill or frail is one the most demanding human experiences. It's common to feel confused, overwhelmed and doubtful.
Violet Guides have supported callers through family conflict, helped them prepare for difficult but necessary conversations and checked in on their mental and emotional well-being. It's a judgement-free space where you can talk about whatever's on your mind.
If you have experienced caring for someone through the last stage of life and would like to share your wisdom and support with others, you might consider becoming a Violet Guide.
